The management of HDEC is very focussed on risk reduction and management while seeking superior returns for our investors. 


  1. •Our portfolio is new and not saddled with underperforming investments entered into over the last few years like other funds.

  2. •Debt financings will be secured, not covenant light and most will have equity kickers for enhanced returns.

  3. •Portfolio company management teams will have significant cash equity at stake.

  4. •Our funds will be administered by a third party (a well known, global organization) and will be audited by a leading accounting firm.

  5. •An advisory board made up of industry leaders will be formed at HDEC.

  6. •Our due diligence will be extremely thorough.

  7. •We will partner at times with larger private equity firms.

  8. •Our portfolio will be diversified by geography, technology and investment type.

  9. •Portfolio companies will not be highly leveraged.
